Approach: Full, complete object-oriented JavaScript programming in updating & overhauling the AARP 'Near Me' map with interactive features and dynamic functionality.

Spotlight: New Corporate Website and Platform
Challenges: Teamed up with engineers and programmers in building a collaborative teachers community website on a brand new enterprise platform.

Universal Search Interface
Spotlight: Overhaul xFinity's Universal Search layout interface
Challenges: Replace Universal Search's old interface with a semantic, tableless structure. Integrate and stylize new design comps. Follow up programming allowed for new features to become dynamic enabling user-driven interactivity.
Notables:- - Customized full-stack work environment in meeting project requirements and completion targets. Analyzed Universal Search's new design specifications and provided status updates during daily agile / scrum meetings.
- - Replaced old interface by developing new semantic, tableless layout and then integrated in old code (JavaScipt, jQuery, JSON and AJAX) within new structure and preserved proper naming conventions (classes and IDs). Compeleted this step before stying work (new design comps) and programming in dynamic user-driven features.

Spotlight: Overhaul to xFinity's Universal Search API
Challenges: The new Universal Search interface, assets and dynamic features are JS and jQuery-driven with object-oriented classes and IDs.
Notables:- - Re-programmed search filter query to display new multimedia features for users through JSON and AJAX work from the Oracle DB. New additions included new genre labels, icons, date and in-depth actor/actress profiles.
- - Used Chrome developer tools and Firebug to test JSON feeds from JSP/Oracle server, check server connections, bandwidth, assets (weight), and AJAX functionality through review, tests and verification.
- - Located and removed VPN-delay bugs and undefined values where search suggestion results no longer appear due to updated backend configurations.

Spotlight: Provided Digital Media team and producers on-site engineering support, consulting and UI engineering work during the NGS Digital Media's transition from the Web Publishing Framework (WEP) to the new Django-based publishing platform.

2014 World Cup - Language Conversion and Social Media

Overview: Converted second website into a French version of the VOA World Cup website and blog. Completed all necessary conversion steps in fully ensure navigation panels, articles, logo and headers were in the French language.

Spotlight: Transition to new website & GIT Framework
Approach: Transferred content from old website (certain pages) to new website setup (select directories / pages). Integrated new navigation. Developed and programmed new login and user account sign up forms and automitic error notifications.

- - Integrated and tested AARP's existing JavaScript error handling management within the new online forms via user submission.
- - Created pages and directories in AARP's brand new site and transferred content, layout features and assets from old site.
- - Upgraded AARP 'Local Offers' Map with new categories, deals and offers (additional pins per zip code) through JSON feed via the AARP database.
